Sian Lloyd to visit quarry

As final preparations are made for the first ever ‘Bug Day’ at Cefn Mawr quarry on Tuesday 15 June, Castle Cement has announced that weather presenter and I’m a Celebrity… contestant Sian Lloyd will make a special appearance.

North Wales may be a long way from the Australian jungle, but the array of insects and other wildlife inhabiting the quarry is no less plentiful, and young insect fans will have the opportunity to learn all about how Cefn Mawr accommodates our six-legged friends.

The event is being timed to run in conjunction with National Insect Week, a new initiative from the Royal Entomological Society, which is sponsored by Castle Cement.
