For more than 50 years, the cement
works at Padeswood has been part of the life of local people as
an employer and neighbour.
Today, Padeswoods people are just as important as ever - as
staff, local residents and partners. A total of 56 workers have
recently celebrated 25 years service at the plant.

will use one of the top industrial posts in north Wales to support
traditional industries and fight for the economy of north Wales.
Noel Williams - quarryman
with a mission
Noel Williams is a local man who has travelled
the world working in quarrying.
And this is Onslow
...
Almost as well known as Noel Williams himself is Onslow. He may
not be a very hard worker, but hes a vital part of the team
at Cefn Mawr and is important for morale.

Castle Cement at Padeswood
have a loyal workforce - proof that the company itself is recognised
as a good employer.
The average length of service for workers is more than 20 years.
A total of 110 of the production workers have more than ten years
experience each.
Wages are well above the local and Welsh average.
